Calling All "Soup" Chefs Sunday, February 5th
THIS SUNDAY! Bring your offering of home-made soup, canned goods or funds to help CCSC's efforst to end hunger.
Please contact Judi VanHorn to volunteer to bring your steaming creation of soup.
The Souper Bowl of Caring is a national event designed to fight hunger in our local communities. FCC participates by having an annual soup tasting/ competition on Super Bowl Sunday. All the monies and food items the Refuge youth group collect go directly to the Christian Community Service Center and their Emergency Services and Gethsemane Food Pantry programs.

Aliveness
Spiritual practices could be called life practices, because they help us practice being alive. Spiritual practices are actually pretty earthy, and they’re not strictly speaking about spirituality as it is often defined. Spiritual practices are really about humanity, about being fully human and fully alive.
Zeteo Worship Gathering
We are looking forward to the February worship gathering on the 12th at 6:30!
In honor of the recent MLK Day holiday and Black history month, we will be including into the worship references to the Civil Rights era of the 1950s and 1960s. In addition, we will spotlight the various civil rights struggles that are happening today regarding human trafficking, LGBT equality, and other issues.

Kellie Sebastian in Cowtown 10K
As some of you may know I am participating in the Cowtown 10K in Fort Worth on February 25th. I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I'm asking you to help by making a donation to my fundraising campaign.
